Guardian Angel Remote backup Software

Tenure: 18 Months
Description: Software takes local computers backup in remote server. This was developed in partnership with The Kotter Group (kotter.net).

Following are the features of software

Backup is in compressed form, taking lesser space in server
If, the file has small changes. Only changes are uploaded using Rsync Algorithm. This is effective not only in having lesser space in server but also very fast second backups.
Software is able to backup files that might be locked because of being used in some other application.
Users are able to schedule their backups, that means backup can run automatically daily, hourly, weekly or monthly depending on how they are scheduled.
Windows explorer kind of interface for helping users selected files they want to backup.

Description: Calsurance is engaged in all insurance-related business as an insurance agent/broker, adjusting services provider and third party claims administration. WebTracker is the complete automation of the business process of Calsurance. This business process contains complete management of insurance polices, payment of insurance premiums, printing of printing of certificates, documents, and messaging system. Calsurance is using existing WebTracker system from last few years. Due to change in business requirements there is a great need to create a new system that can cater the need of ever changing business needs. Proposed WebTracker will be Web Services based enterprise application which will provide functionalities like managing the insurance groups, policies, coverages, limits of policies, members, online payments of insurance premiums, printing of certificates, documents, and functionality to email, fax, or print the documents in queue. Business Intelligence will provide management with very dynamic and in-depth information about company’s clients and trends.

Description: Dynamic Website with backend Administrative application that provides the client full authorization to make/update required changes in the site in real time. These changes/updates were not only related to text, images, but also additions and management of product information and related hardware, software drivers/manuals in the form of downloadable zip files, and viewable PDF files. The Administrative application provides Sabtech’s site administrators with a very user-friendly administrative interface. The site provides a complete authenticated login process through which site visitors can register as members giving them privilege of accessing restricted material. A tracking system has been built in to provide Sabtech with up-to-date information regarding material viewed and downloaded. Therefore, the site now is not only visibly attractive but also extremely manageable. All these above functions have made the site easy to maintain and almost independent of developers role. Gotaplay

Description:: GotaPlay is an aesthetically developed Website. This website, while providing easy to navigate, game selection and renting interface, allows users to register themselves by filling out a secured form. A third party service is being used to confirm credit card details of the users. A vital feature of this registration form is that when this registration form is submitted users are automatically assigned to different distribution centers related to their zip codes. An admin section has been developed to allow GotaPaly personnel to add/update game inventory and to manage users and different distribution centers. User shipping history is properly maintained to provide increased control. A host of reports are being generated to provide GotaPlay with accurate current statuses of Users and availability of games. A game processing application, Fulfillment, has been developed to create, print barcodes and to ship games, according to different distribution centers. This allows GotaPlay to have complete and up-to-date information about each game and its shipment related to each specific user. Therefore, the site now is not only visibly attractive but also extremely manageable. All these above functions have made the site easy to maintain and almost independent of developers role. Underwriting Library

Tenure: 8 Months
Description: Customized XUL (XUL is XML based language) based application is developed to show First America’s Underwriting Library contents in offline mode while keeping intact the look and feel of their original web based Underwriting Library site (http://ulj.firstam.com/UL/ulstart.do). This application runs from CD and is platform Independent. XUL controls are used to populate data from XML files. User interaction with these controls is handled with Java scripts. Jetty Web Server is used for implementing business logic.

Biometric based time and attendance system (BioKnots)

Tenure: One Year
Description: Developed a biometric based time and attendance system along with Access Control System. System is used to check employee’s in and out timing and keep track of his/her leaves. System has capability to organize employee with respect to their departments and employees allowed for particular access point cannot enter through any other access point within organization. System keep track of all employee leaves and even responsible to print employee cards. Extensive reporting is an edge of system. It is easy to plug in with any Human Resource System/ Pay Roll System. Description: National Rate Fee Calculator (NRFC) The National Rate Fee Calculator (NRFC) is comprised primarily of XML and XSL documents. The combination of these documents provides the business rules and calculation algorithms necessary to compute policies, endorsements or fees (NOTE: currently we’re only supporting policies). The intended clients for NRFC are applications that need to compute these values. Within First American, there are many applications that meet these criteria, include FAST, Wings, Fred, and the existing TitleFees web site.
